iHeadHunt Job Description: The SAP Developer is responsible for a variety of tasks related to the specification, development, testing, and documentation of ABAP code for an SAP implementation. Interpretation of functional requirements and development of ABAP programs according to specifications. Programs to be developed include, but are not limited to, the following: conversions, reports, forms, enhancements, and interfaces. Develop functional prototypes to explore different design concepts. Work closely with Business Analysts to ensure accuracy and completeness of Functional Specifications. Design, develop, and expose SAP BAPI objects. Develop and deploy SAP interfaces with external enterprise systems. Development, execution, and documentation of unit test procedures. Assist in system, integration, performance and user acceptance testing. Provide assistance to the Business Analyst with the analysis of ABAP change requests. Development of technical and support documentation. Thorough understanding of ABAP Workbench tools such as ABAP Dictionary, ABAP Editor, Area Menus, SAP Script, Function Builder, Transactions, and Business Object Builder. AS or BS degree in a technical field of study or related work experience. The Developer position we are trying to fill is for a very senior level person. By senior, this DOES NOT mean that the person is a leader in the project. This means that the Developer is very seasoned, had a very deep understanding of SAP, and has worked in a highly customized solution. It would be great if this person had Resource Related Billing experience but this is only a nice to have.
