Description
Does CKEditor have the ability to capture a cut-n-pasted image, display it inline with text, and save the image to a DB or file location for redisplay? If so do you have example code on how to do this?

Hi @Reimar,
I'm trying to understand the status of this feature. I've looked at the 45 tickets in the milestone but it's not clear if there's one exactly for supporting pasting images from the clipboard.
Maybe leave this issue open until it's actually fixed?

We've changed the name of the previous milestone from 4.5.0 to 4.5.0 Beta, so all the important tickets are in the latter one. The current 4.5.0 contains only bug fixes.
Please check http://ckeditor.com/blog/CKEditor-4.5-Beta-Released and the changelog.
As for this ticket, I should have closed it as a DUP of one of 4.5.0 Beta's ticket. I don't know why I chose "invalid".

We're working on capturing pasted images right now (http://dev.ckeditor.com/milestone/CKEditor%204.5.0). All the features you need will be available then.
