SELECTION IS MODIFIED IN A SPECIAL CASES

STR (you should use IE8):
1) Paste the following *source* code into CK-DEMO source view (keep the 3 lines as is):

window
</pre>

3) switch back to wysiwyg view
2) double click on the word "window" and change the font family.

RESULT: The first two letter are omitted from the selection.

Problem can be reproduced in IE7 and IE8 from CKEditor 3.0. This is happening for every inline style.

NOTES:

• In case of dropdowns - One letter was omitted from CKE 3.0 till 3.2.1. From CKE 3.2.2 till present (CKE 4.1.2) two letters are omitted.
• In case of styles like bold or italic only one letter was always omitted.
