#1098 closed Bug (fixed)

The toolbar is dancing

Reported by: Frederico Caldeira Knabben Owned by: Hallvord R. M. Steen (Opera Software)
Priority: Must have (possibly next milestone) Milestone: Opera Compatibility
Component: UI : Toolbar Version: SVN (FCKeditor) - Retired
Keywords: Cc: Hallvord R. M. Steen (Opera Software)

Description

The editor toolbar set seams quite unstable. Its toolbars start moving while using the editor.

To reproduce it, just open the editor and start clicking randomly inside the text. You will note that, sometimes, the toolbars change positions, leaving space gaps between them.

Maybe it's not related, but I've also noted that there is always a break before the last toolbar, with the color selectors and the about button. It should be in the right side of the combos instead, as there is room for it there.

Replying to fredck:

For this one, it goes to the right position when clicking the "Maximize" button. Then, it is enough to move the mouse over the toolbar to make the toolbar wrap again.

More findings on this... it doesn't happen when the editor interface changes to RTL. The toolbar get stable then (float:right). To see that, just open sample03.html and load the "Arabic" language.

Yeah! It is wonderful to see the toolbar stable again with Opera 9.50 Build 9523 :)
