FireFox: Can't delete table column when column is marked

Description
This applies to version 2.3.2 and SVN Trunk.
*Complete description of the bug* If the user mark all cells in a column and try to delete the column, nothing happens. This works well in IE and when marking cells in a row and deleting the row.
*The steps to reproduce it*
- Insert a table with three columns and some rows
- Mark all cells in a column
- Right click, select column->delete columns
- Nothing happens, except the context submenu remains
open. See the attached image
*Computer configuration* Browser: Firefox 1.5.0.7 and 2.0 OS: WinXP and Ubuntu dapper
