#1386 closed Bug (fixed)

Linking to internal page sub-header fails

Reported by: Steve Forbes Owned by:

Description

When linking to an Internal wiki page, under a sub-header, such as in the formatting Internal_page#header1?, you will find that the URL will grow, each time the user switches between WikiText, and FCKEditor modes.

The URL will also grow each time the user edit's the page.

For example, i have created a header in the Sandbox site called "test", and under the http://mediawiki.fckeditor.net/index.php/Testing_Internal_Link page, I have created an internal link "This link shows the FCKEditor bug in Sub-Headers", with the subheader reference to the Sandbox Main Page, Sub-Header "Test".

To re-create this bug, Create a Sub-header in any page, and then goto another wiki entry, and create a link to the first page, and then link to the sub-header via page#header?.

Then switch to WikiText mode in the editor. Then switch back to Editor mode.

Then save the page.

Then re-edit the page, and switch to wikitext mode.

You will see that the link has grown to page#header#header#header.23header? or something of a similar nature.

This bug is present in your sandbox environment.
