Description
Steps to reproduce
- Copy any URL ex:- https://dev.ckeditor.com/newticket
- open Chrome/Firefox paste the above URL into Ckeditor
- Note that the pasted URL is pasted as a simple text not as URL
- Above scenario is not reproducible in IE.
Expected result
Should paste the URL as URL not as plain text
Actual result
Pasting the URL as plain text

- This is IE feature to auto-link pasted content.
- If you want to auto link it in FF and Chrome please use: http://ckeditor.com/addon/autolink
- When pasting a link in this ticket, it works correctly - link is pasted. I assume you were talking about pasting text like URL e.g. from browser URL bar.
