#2285 closed Bug (fixed)
Select Drop Downs not hiding when opening a Panel

Description
If you open up a select, for example, "Format" then open a panel, for example "Image Properties" in FF2 (or according to Fred, also FF3), the select does not always (and usually NOT) close. Once you close the panel, clicking in the editor will no longer cause the drop down to lose focus and hide as it normally would.

Martin Kou reported that the patch did not work for him, however it did seem to for me.

Confirmed with FF3. Ok with IE, Safari and Opera.
It happens also when maximizing the editor having any of the toolbar combos opened.

I can see why you're claiming the patch works - it really seems to work most of the time in Firefox 2.
But it doesn't work in Firefox 3, so I guess we'd have to try something different.
