Description
I would be great to edit content with Find/Replace dialog opened. Currently the background page is disabled when any dialog is opened.

There's more to consider than just remove the overlay, e.g. highlight matching is broken.
While the idea of unobtrusive find/replace like Google Doc. is an interesting feature, let's leave this ticket for more investigation.
