Seams ok with Safari 3 Beta on Mac and Windows, and even with the latest WebKit nightly.
This one has been fixed in WebKit, but a change in Safari is also required:
http://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11297
So, theoretically, news Safari version will incorporate that fix.
I'm living it opened until we are not able to see the fix results active in some Safari version.
