Description
Provide the capability to add scrolling text (marquee) to a web page. Should be able to specify left-to-right, right-to-left, top-to-bottom, bottom- to-top scrolling; left/right edge of scrolling window, speed of scrolling, continuous/number of times for scrolling, should scrolled text remain or not, formatting of scrolled text.

I vote for wontfix too. Apart from the fact it is non-standard, it is now rarely used anyways.

As mentioned above marquee is an extension of IE. Moreover it isn't a part of HTML specification and it isn't used very often so it's a wontfix.
marquee is not an official part of HTML. Microsoft made it up, but it is not even part of the HTML spec.
