Selection for link is lost in IE when toolbar button with dialog is clicked

Using IE, on the demo site (3.6.2 currently)...

1. Create table, inside table, inside table.
2. Add text to one of the inner-most cells.
3. Select the entered text and click the "Link" button.
4. Enter any url in the target input field.
5. Click OK, view the *malformed result.

*selection is gone and instead of link being created from selection, target is inserted as if there were no selection.

@josephrider I did a quick test of your patch and it seems that it fixes this particular issue. Other tests need to be made to make sure if it doesn't break anything else.

Anyway this is a DUP of #8493 thus I'm closing this issue.
