#10267 closed Bug (invalid)

ACF removes some Paste from Word table styles

Description (last modified by Anna Tomanek)

Some users have reported on our forum that CKEditor 4.1 removes some table formatting (cell backgrounds) and alignment settings.

Apparently this used to work in CKEditor 3.x. It is possible that the table plugin either does not add correct rules to allowedContent or MS Word sets these properties in a different way than we do (for example in attributes instead of styles).

I have replied to both posts. First case is rather not our fault as CKEditor has nothing to do with saving data. Second issue is about ACF configuration:

There is no error here this is default behaviour of ACF. Please see:

Yes, spans are cut out by default. You need to configure or turn off ACF to have them.

I'm closing this issue as invalid. I have however found possible bug concerning pasting from word. I will need to investigate this but after I'm finished I will leave link to ticket here.

The ticket I was talking about is #10285 and is not related to this issue.

It is valid issue (as I described here http://dev.ckeditor.com/ticket/9991#comment:8), but let's handle it in #9991.
