Description (last modified by )
I do use MathJax and ckeditor in my sites. But I do not intend to use the mathjax plugin in its current state. There are two reasons:
- Edit: @jmatos I have extraced this part of your ticcket to #11595.
- The sample in http://ckeditor.com/ckeditor_4.3_beta/samples/plugins/mathjax/mathjax.html shows the baseline for text and inline equations as being significantly different.

Baseline in incorrect because we MathJax is in the iFrame
. We could read equations shift from what MathJax generate and apply this shift to the iFrame
. It is doable but not trivial, because part of this shift already works with iFrame
and MathJax's HTML is quite messy.
Because generated HTML does not contain iFrame
and show good baseline (you can check in preview that everything is ok there), I think this ticket has a low priority.
Please have a look at attached file. You can see that formulas are positioned a little bit lower when comparing them to the text.
This problem can only be seen in wysiwyg mode while it disappears no target page. When you save your page or simply see its preview you will see that all is back to normal now.
