Description

Steps to reproduce

Open divarea sample and clean editor contents.
Type few letters
Open smiley or special character dialog
Type few more characters

Expected result

It should not be possible to type characters.

Actual result

It is possible to type characters.

Other details (browser, OS, CKEditor version, installed plugins)

Problem can be reproduced from CKEditor 4.0, only in Blink and Webkit browsers.
