User comment from that ticket (I believe we have something similar when we want to insert link as anchor):

The forms plugin should provide a dialog to create a <label> around the selected text and set its 'for' property (a text input or dropdown with the ids of existing form elements)

I would be interested in such functionality as well.

Is there any (inoffical) plugin available? If not, is there any interest in including such functionality into the official forms plugin?
