Description
Hi FCK developers,
I've been using FCKeditor for a while and since a couple versions ago, the functionality to delete files and folders was taken out of the integrated filebrowser. (Why? Security issues?)
So, I coded the functionality myself in some newer versions, but every time I upgrade FCKeditor, I have to redo all the coding (and it seems to be different from version to version).
Is there any way to re-implement this functionality, possibly with a configuration property to "enable / disable" the delete button? That would be greatly appreciated !
Many thanks and keep up the wonderful work,
Wout

Please implement an interface for supporting deleting files and folders via the browser. This is a highly desired feature, and you could use a config flag to enable the delete functionality so it remains compatible with existing integration packages

We have recently released CKFinder, the advanced File Manager for FCKeditor:
http://www.fckeditor.net/extras/ckfinder
While we'll continuously maintain the file browser distributed with the main FCKeditor package, we'll not implement advanced features (like file/folder deletion) on it, leaving them to CKFinder.
I think you are talking about the mcpuk file browser, which has been removed in version 2.2.
