I can confirm this on FF 3.6.10, using FF 3.6.6 bug is not reproducible.
Code for reproduction (customize domain to match editor's URL):
CKEDITOR.instances.editor1.insertHtml('<img src="http://ckeditor.t/uploadfile/2010/0914/20100914115423934.jpg" />');
