[IE8]: Highlighted text is deleted when using browser Edit => Copy

Description

Steps to Reproduce the defect:

Open the Ajax sample in IE8.
Type some text into the editor.
Highlight the text using the mouse or CTRL + A (in preparation for copying to the clipboard).
Click on "Edit" in the browser

Expected: You should be able to copy the highlighted text from the Edit menu in the browser.

Actual: The highlighted text is erased.

Status:	new → confirmed

Confirmed in IE8, WFM in IE9, while we could hardly do anything here.
