[Spellchecker] Some languages are named incorrectly
Reported by: | Anna Tomanek | Owned by:

Component: | UI : Spell Checker | Version:
Keywords: | Cc: | WebSpellChecker.net |
Description
Among the languages supported by the spellchecker (both in the "Spell Check" dialog window and in the "Languages" tab of the SCAYT dialog window) some have incorrect names, like:
"English Canadian" -> should be "Canadian English"
"French Canadian" -> should be "Canadian French"
"English Australian" -> should be "Australian English"
There is no such thing as a "Canadian" or "Australian" language and language variants/dialects should always be named in the "Region Language" format and not the other way round.

This is no longer a problem in current versions of WSC. Closing as fixed.
@SpellChecker.net
Any chance to proceed with this? This seems like a trivial thing to change and language names are named correctly on WebSpellChecker.net website. This really looks unprofessional, as if we did not know the names of the languages that we claim to support.
