#7963 closed Bug (fixed)

IE9: CKEditor may be blocking some options from context menu for Speckie

Description (last modified by Frederico Caldeira Knabben)

This ticked is based on a comment from ticket #7953.

Spellchecker Speckie only underlines words in WYSIWYG mode but it doesn't display any suggestions in the native browser context menu (CRTL+RMB).

If you view the generated page and use context menu on words in e.g. text-area then suggestions are shown.

It may be that we have the same issue we have with #7953. If the editing area looses the selection, the spellchecker doesn't know which word is supposed to get corrected.

Applied patch from #7953 and now SpeckIE works fine in IE9.

I have checked speckie and CKEditor 3.6.6 and 4.0.2 - problem described in TC doesn’t occur any more.
