This is mostly a bug in Opera. I've reported it at their bugs site:
https://bugs.opera.com/show_bug.cgi?id=240509

The bug Test Case can be found attached.

If the TC covers the problem fully you can close this one, will be fixed our side.

comment:3 Changed 17 years ago by Frederico Caldeira Knabben

The TC is for the Bold command only. Italic, Underline and Strikethrow present the same problem (and probably have the same fix).

We'll be closing the tickets as soon as we can confirm the fix on a public (or NDA limited) Opera release, so people can expect to have the fix available soon.

Same issue for "outdent" action (reverse indent) Assigning to self since it will be fixed by Opera.

comments from #376 (dup of this one)

div or p with attribute align set disables the associated button too:

  • left disables "Left Justify"
  • right disables "Right Justify"
  • center disables "Center Justify"
  • justify disables "Block Justify"

It seams that this one has been fixed! Tested it with Opera 9.50 (Build 9484).
