Confirmed for IE, Firefox and Safari. Opera doesn't seem to be able to receive HTML code from MS Word.
The problem seems to originate from MS Word, instead of from FCKeditor though. The way MS Word outputs the HTML code of the list items as <p> or <div> with lots of spaces and indentation looks like a fallback method in case it encounters a list type not supported by HTML lists, or in this case, a type that MS Word's programmers have not accounted for. For FCKeditor to fix this, it might have to parse MS Word's erratic HTML output, look for such misplaced lists, and rewrite the HTML code.
