FF: Opening the paste dialog adds an unwanted <br /> tag

Description

Steps to reproduce the defect:

Open the Ajax sample in FF.

Enter some text into the editor.

Click somewhere in the middle of the text.

Click the Paste button in the toolbar & click cancel.

Expected: The text in the editor should appear as it was before the dialog was opened.

Actual: The text now appears on 2 lines instead of 1.
